ONEBIGGAME ORGANIZES FIRST FUNDRAISER EVENT
OneBigGame (www.OneBigGame.org), the non-profit games publisher founded with a philanthropic vision, is calling for games industry people to get on their bikes and join its first annual OneBigBikeRide. Taking place from 5th-12th September 2009 in California the ride is one of a number of fund and profile-raising events being organized by the publisher.
Martin de Ronde, founder and Chairman of OneBigGame.org commented, "We’ve already had a great response to the ride with sign-ups from from a charitable list of international developers. It’s a great way for us to raise additional funds, spread the word about OBG and get a little fitter."
The OneBigBikeRide route will start in the breathtakingly beautiful Yosemite National Park, wind through the Napa Valley (stopping off for a little educational wine tasting) before crossing The Golden Gate Bridge to finish in San Francisco.
Alison Beasley, Advisory Board member of OBG and OneBigBikeRide Co-ordinator added, "The ride is open to anyone in the industry. From the keen cyclists to those who haven’t been on a bike for years - this is a great chance to ride through some stunning scenery with some fabulous industry people, raising funds for children’s charities in the process."
Training rides, fundraising ideas, sponsorship opportunities and other information can be found on the website. The ride is limited to 50 places - to secure your place downlad the forms below and sign up now, or contact Alison Beasley: Alison@lincolnbeasley.co.uk or Susan Marshall: susan.marshall@onebiggame.org.
